Love Happens?

So I came down to SA today to get some stuff done, HUGE loads of laundry, grocery shop, you know...the normal college student stuff. We have a cooking class on Sunday at William Sonoma. Tonight I went to my mom's office for a "Girly" movie night. We watched 'Love Happens' with Jennifer Aniston and the guy that plays Harvey Dent/Two-Face in 'The Dark Knight."
It was ok, there won't be any rushing out to buy it or anything, it was a really slow paced movie. I feel for any guys that were dragged to the movie theater to see it with their girlfriends. Basically it's about this guy, Burke (Two-Face) that's a motivational speaker for people that have suffered the loss of a loved one, he himself lost his wife 3 years ago in a car accident, which he blames himself for. Jennifer Aniston is someone who can't seem to make good man choices, and is the person that magically brings out the side of Burke that nobody gets to see because he's buried it down with his sadness and guilt...you know how the story goes...girl pushes guys buttons about what happened, guy lashes out bc he's protecting himself, girl somehow gets full story and tells guy she understands and that all she wants is for him to be happy, guy realizes he's been a jackass and then goes and gets girl, and the they live happily ever after. Add a cockatoo named Rocky and you have you 'Love Happens.'

Watching speed skating on the olympics and seeing Apollo's dq I think he got cheated. He didn't push the guy, he just had his hand on his him so they wouldn't run into each other, the guy fell on his on. Plus I think the judge who made the dq call was completely bias...he was a Canadian judge, and he was judging wether Apollo pushed a Canadian skater...gee I wonder if the judge is going to want his player to get a metal. I know that the judges are supposed to be fair and not show favoritism, I feel that if your country is participating in the particular event then you shouldn't be able to make such important calls, they should have had a judge form a country that isn't currently participating, it's only fair. I also don't understand why the Canadian women's hockey team could be getting in trouble for celebrating their gold medal...they won, they have the right to celebrate, it wasn't poor sportsmanship, if anyone should be reprimanded for poor sportsmanship it should be the Russian male figure skater, he is acting like such a whiney ass baby...so he didn't win the gold medal, be happy you figgin' placed at all. even the Prime Minister, or whoever, from Russia is being a jackass about the US guy winning gold. I think that if anyone should get in trouble for "unsportsman like conduct" it should be Mr. 'I won the Platinum Medal in this Olympic Games' not the the women's hockey team.

And to end your day with some cuteness

XOXO
