Spring

So few things have happened since my last post. To start off the first weekend of Spring Break I ended up going up to Dallas with mom to watch her do the Inaugural Rock 'n Roll half marathon. Dad was originally supposed to go but this total douche bag/jackass/many other things guy my dad works with told him that he had to work Friday and Monday, the 2 days that he had taken off so they could drive up and back down. Actually the guy originally he needed to be back because he had to work on Monday and that would mean that mom and dad would have to drive back down Sunday afternoon...after my mom had run 13.1 miles, obviously the guy has never done any kind of running like that...my mom was so pissed, I think if the guy was in front of her she would have kicked him in the gonads, I would have like to also! But it was nice going up to Dallas, got some good pictures of the downtown area.

Yesterday Mom, Dad and me went to Enchanted Rock. When the weather man and weather lady said that the weather was going to be good this weekend I figured we had to go and do something. So we went and hiked up to the very top, almost got blown off, and then hiked our way down the round about way. Me and dad took pictures, Dad more than me bc well I wanted to get to the top and rest as fast as possible because DAMN that rock is friggin' steep. Not to mention that when we got to the "smooth" part the wind picked up, it was pretty constant with a few burst to knock you over if you weren't paying attention. When we got to the top and were looking around a guy actually had his hat blown off and went running after it with no hope of actually catching as it flew off the "mountain" top. All in all it was the perfect day, went home and participated in Earth Hour (did you?!) took a nice lock hot shower to help with the first real sunburn of the year (my face/ears/hair part got sunburned when I was waiting for mom to cross the finish line at the marathon but that always happens so it doesn't count and it was only red for the day where as my arms are still fairly red today =p), then applied A LOT of lotion to my arms and legs and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. It was really nice too because lately I haven't been sleeping very well, but last night I slept all through the night and woke up with some good energy and ready to take on the last baking class (='( Every weekend in March was a different baking class, next Sunday starts 'healthy' cooking?)at William-Sonoma this morning!

I have found where all Harley's hair is!!

So reading for class isn't that fun, it's the basic crap that I've already learned...a few times, so I got about half way through my chapter and decided that it would be a better idea to clean my room. And this idea is always good in theory right? I folded and put up all the laundry I had done earlier this week, thrown away LOTS of papers and stuff that I will never need again, organized my movies and I'm working on my little bookshelf right now. I have officially found were Harley hides all the hair she sheds. I mean it gets on my bed, but that's nothing unusual to me, Stormy and Nikki hair manages to some how get on my stuff up here, so a little hair on the places where Harley usually stays is fine...but after cleaning the way I have tonight I have found all the other hair that she sheds! It's good hair too, it's the nice kind that clumps itself up for you, that way all you have to do is pick up the clumps, so yeah...it was hiding in the corners and along the edge of my big bookshelf...now if only my vacuum wasn't making funny noises and smelling weird when I turn it on we would be in business, but alas it is so I'm picking up the clumps by hand, which isn't bad. I still have some cleaning and organizing to do so it's all good.

Other news...for once my room is actually the COOLEST in the house..I don't know what exactly the weather decided to do, but it feels nice outside so I opened my windows to let the nice air in and the muggy air out and now any time I walk out into the hallway or anything there is a blast of warm air and it's strange...usually it's the other way around o_0

I finished the baby blanket and am currently washing it to get all the dog hair and other things that got on it off, plus I want to make sure it will hold up being washed b/c once I send it to Joe and them I can't fix it unless the want to send it back...but where is the fun in that, it need to be a durable blanket right? It turned out really nice, I'll have to take some pictures before I mail it over to them to show off to everyone ^_^
